What is the best way to translate product information?

Currently, using language A (master) the manually inputted translation in language B does not seem to be saved by the system and after saving the language B text the system automatically goes back to language A. I'm a new Odoo user :).

I have been facing the same issues as you did.

Did you manage to solve it, and if so, how?

You will click on EN icon and a new screen will be shown and the languages will be ordered aphetically, you will enter the translation for your language and save. 


The translation will be shown if you changed the language of the user --> Go to the right above corner of  Odoo and click on the user a context menu will be shown -> click on "My Profile" then edit the profile and change the language to the language you want then save --> Odoo will reopen with your language and if you Go to the product you will see your translation.
