I would like to understand if I can use Odoo as an ATS for my company, specifically for sourcing and selecting candidates for some of my clients. I need full functionality of the "Recruitment" module, including the ability to receive applications and manage them through different stages, a web page where job offers are published, and ideally, the ability to manage the entire workflow with the client—from sending the quotation to issuing the invoice. I'm struggling to understand if Odoo can be configured to handle this activity, and before abandoning this project, I wanted the opinion of someone experienced or who has used Odoo in this way. Thank you.


Vorrei capire se posso usare Odoo come ATS per la mia azienda, che sia finalizzato nella ricerca e selezione di candidati per alcune miei clienti. Ho bisogno di avere tutte le funzionalità del modulo "selezione del personale" quindi la possibilità di ricevere le candidature e gestirle nelle diverse fasi, avere la pagina web dove sono pubblicate le offerte, ed infine volendo anche la possibilità di gestire il flusso col cliente dall'invio del preventivo fino al rilascio della fattura. Ho molta difficoltà nel capire se Odoo può essere impostato per gestire questa attività, e prima di abbandonare questo progetto volevo il parere di qualcuno esperto o che comunque utilizzasse odoo in questa maniera, grazie

Yes, I understand that Odoo can manage the workflow, and I can also consider linking this process. However, what I don't understand is how to distinguish between the hired candidates and my internal employees. The recruiter module identifies the hiring as if it were done for my company and not as a service for a client.

That's where I mentioned where you need to tag it manually on both sides Sale Order and Employee. I believe you can add a tags. therefore you can distinguish whether your employee or your clients' employee.

From you descriptions, I can list few of what Odoo can do related to "Recruitment":

  1. Post Job Vacancy
  2. Receive Job Applications
  3. Track Job Applicants Progress
  4. Create Quotation, Sales order, until Invoice and Payments

With Odoo, we can actually do all of this. But, what you need to consider here is that Creating Sales order to your client is not linked to your job posted which might need you to manually input the sales order instead of generating through your job offers.
