Hi everyone, 


I am looking for a solution to generate recurrent weekly tasks (every Tuesday for ex) & billed them monthly, which then varies depending on the number of tasks performed.

Example: 1 month with 4 Tuesdays > 4 tasks to bill and 1 month with 5 Tuesdays, so 5 tasks.


Any tips, devs or 3rd party app to use?

Hi,
To manage recurrent weekly tasks and bill them monthly based on the number of tasks performed, Odoo can be utilized. The Project app can be used to create and manage tasks, with the option to set up recurring tasks on a weekly basis, such as every Tuesday.

For billing, the Subscription app can be used to manage recurring billings and automatically generate invoices monthly. However, since the number of tasks varies each month, a custom solution may be needed to link the number of tasks performed to the invoice. This can be achieved through custom development or by using Odoo Studio if you are using Odoo Enterprise. For further assistance with customization, you can contact Odoo support via odoo.com/help.

Hi,

Thank you for your help. The issue I am having is about the difference of recurrence between the task and the invoice. I would like to invoice all the task that happened during the month, so I was thinking about subscription with a monthly plan, but then my service generating a task is not creating a task every week.

Thank you! Creating a recurring task is okay but linking it to a recurring invoicing plan that do not follow the same recurrence is harder
