Plugin Openoffice doesn't work

Question

Hello all

I'm new to Odoo, and I have a problem to create reports. The plugin report designer for Openoffice doesn't seem to work. I always get a message "The status of the extension is unknown". The plugin seems to be added, however none of the options in the menu seem to work. How can I fix this?

Openoffice version 4.1.1, report designer 7 & 8

hi,

*these are the steps to create openoffice report designer:*

1.Download openerp_report_designer.zip file

2.Open the OpenOffice

3.In the Tools menu,you can find a sub-menu called Extension Manager,In that you have to add the vopenerp_report_designer.zip file by pressing add button and close it.

4. Close the OpenOffice and restart again.Then you can find a extra Menu called OpenERP Report Designer.In that you can modify Existing Reports or Create new reports

As far as I have heard from, some plugins are not up to date with Odoo v8.

Apprently, you need to get involved in the coders community to get what you expect sometimes.

There is new reports, QWeb reports & you can edit them through the website module

Hello,

I use Open Office ver. 4.1.0 and always when I try to connect database it fails and return the message "wrong login/password" !!!

I use the same login and password always to sign in Odoo !!!!

NO WAY TO SOLVE PROBLEM and NO working ANSWER found allover the forum.
