Hi,

Today I noticed deliveries (pickings) are no longer created when validating sale orders in a development environment. I double checked my order and everything seems OK :

  • customer, invoice and delivery addresses are set,

  • there is no special routing (specifying routes, like drop shipping, is deactivated in settings),

  • a warehouse with stocks is selected,

  • the shipping policy is to deliver each product when available.

  • the order has no expiration date

  • ...

This is the first time I face this issue. And I have no clue why Odoo behaves like this. The same Odoo installation (same server and same code) with another database works as expected. I used to place sale orders and have deliveries created immediately when validating.

Do you have any clues, please?

Thanks.

For some reasons, if you configured Odoo to define 3 addresses (partner + invoice + delivery) on sale orders, you must select a delivery address among the contacts (addresses) defined for the partner. In my case, a user defined the delivery address to another customer (this customer is aimed to receive shipments for its own usage but also for other customers)

Could have be nice if Odoo only showed allowed addresses. :)

Can you check your product type. Make sure your product type must be stockable.
