But the point of sale application sees the printer as offline (the customer facing monitor work correcly)
The odoo software running on the iot (15.0) only reports the printers directly connected to the iot (such as usb) but not those connected through ethernet.
A way to make it work in the latter case is to edit the file odoo/addons/hw_drivers/iot_handlers/drivers/PrinterDriver.py and remove the all the testing for device_connection == 'direct'. I am not sure if this change can have side effects.

The iot box detect all printer in the network from the iot V18_10
You refer a link who print a ticket status if the printer is connected directly to the iot

You don't have linked the iot to your database.
See in your iot homepage the field server is empty.
So you can't print
