So, I'm using OpenERP 7.0 under the AGPL license. From my understanding of AGPL, it should be possible for me to remove the openerp logo and footer. After all, it is just another source code modification.
Since I'm using OpenErp as a web service for my clients, would changing the branding be any problem ?
I added our logo in "Settings" --> "Companies" --> "Companies" --> our company record, and the only remaining reference to OpenERP is the "Powered by OpenERP" at the bottom of the left menu. Is that what you want? I can't imagine why anyone would want to remove that.
End client dos not prefer this kind of logo in their organization, a lot our clients request to remove it, also world well know open source allows to remove it, why you guys hesitate for this issue. whatever you force but whatever a lot client removes it and solution providers too., and its real fact. they why to hesitate even you provides a lot free great features ?
