I have previously deployed Odoo v12.0 and would like to upgrade/migrate to v13.0.
Following the developer documentation, I installed v12.0 on premise using a packaged installer on Ubuntu 18.04 running a PostgreSQL server. All current modules came with the initial package (so no thrid-party module was installed).
Updating is easy, however upgrading to v13.0 is daunting for me, as the open source Community version of Odoo does not seem to support migration to a newer release.
I found OpenUpgrade which provides an open source upgrade path (via GitHub) and has a branch for v13.0, but I have no clue as to where to start.
Could anyone give me some pointers on how to proceed? Or ideally, the steps I need to follow to migrate from v12.0 to v13.0?
Thank you
Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:

- e-Commerce
- Contabilidad

Yes, OpenUpgrade can be useful to migrate the community databases. The documentation you can see here.
But I would suggest you contact the expert to migrate your database because there are lots of steps after you perform the migration using openupgrade.
