Our Linode server with Ubuntu 12.04. OS 64 BIT,     512 MB RAM and Disc space of 23.5 GB

I installed OpenERP V7.0 in it.

I know this is only a low configuration. So that why .

I want to know about how many OpenERP databases (maximum) can be run concurrently in this system smoothly.  which can be accesed by different user at the same time.   Ie without any clash in the system. 

Any one please help..

It is not really possible/usefull to give you any statistics on this for now. This is due to there being so many factors that all play a role. For example, consider this:

  • What is your definition of smoothly (I would most likely not even consider 1 database to run smoothly on that system) ?
  • How many users are present in a single database that login?
  • What is the average task of a user (I can imagine creating a sale order as not really processor-consuming, but creating complex reports might slow down a lot)?
  • How many records are the tables on average?

Etc. etc. etc. I think it should be trial and error in this case.

Yeah, and some time this is not a question for the Openerp point of view. The question is Postgres. How to set up and how to finalised and so on....
