We have been on v7 for a few months and have to generate investor numbers. Our import of historical data is deferred, so we are working to establish beginning balances for 2014 in order to generate accurate numbers for the current quarter.

We have some activity in 2013 but not enough to "Close the Year".

I have also tried generating individual entries (contra to equity and/or income/expense) and nothing seems to work.  When I generate a Trial balance on the day that I made the entries, they are there.  A trial balance the next day shows a balance of zero!  PLEASE HELP.
