Does anyone know how to do it?

You mean a way to print directly to a printer from within openERP?
For the SaaS version - you cannot do it For the version on our own server there is a custom module. That you can install, it is in progress for V7.
patently: have you tested and used that module, what printer did you use it on? how far is the development? can it be used now
if the printer prints from CUPS, it can be used. The CUPS commands are vendor neutral. The code that is in there is not finished for 7.0 yet, but if you are familiar with launchpad you can get the code and only a few modifications are necessary.
