I had en_GB english in addition to en_US and deleted en_GB because it wasn't needed and was causing more problems than it was worth. However now when I edit certain models I get:
Language code of translation item must be among known languages
How can I get rid of that?
Do you have a translator on your browser? Disabling it might solve your issue.
