Hi there,

sometimes we need to export invoices, offers or similar documents to MS WORD to get more flexibility to alter the document. Is there a function that allows such an export? Any similar possibility to do so?

Thanks

A way is to create a report with aeroo so you can obtain a odt file that is editable with Openoffice and Libreoffice. Aeroo doesn't support doc or docx file so you need one of this two software. I thin this is the unique solution.

Aeroo is very cool. The latest versions of MS Office can open/save ODF documents. Or you can open them in LibreOffice and do a "Save as" to save as .doc/.xls etc.

According to this yes: http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/word-help/support-for-the-opendocument-format-in-microsoft-office-2010-HA101878944.aspx

Hi there,

thanks for the idea. Maybe there's an easier workaround which came to my mind while reading your answer: print the offer as PDF and export it to .doc using a PDF export tool like pdfgrabber...

Why you use a tool when Aeroo get you a doc compatible file directly?

I've checked the aeroo-video-how-to and it seems a bit complicated to me - maybe it isnt't, but it seemed so...
