I've created a module where user can create n status like approved, denied, waiting, ... n-status. So I want to display in a kanban view the number of record for each status, like approved:40, denied:30, waiting:25, .....n-status:25

Hello Wildhen,
Add parameter default_group_by="field_name" in kanban view.
Eg: <kanban default_group_by="stage_id">
If you didn't understand above code then, In project module you can see the all tasks are grouped by stages and after stage name total number of task counts are displayed. For reference you can see the tasks kanban view in project module.
