I am running Odoo on a Linode server and using the standard contact page. The contact page has fields for the visitor to note their name, phone#, email address, company, subject and question. I have set the recipient email on the 'submit' button as my email address. I have also defined my smtp server in the setting section of odoo. When people fill in the form and press submit the email does not make it to my email address specified on the recipient field. It will only successfully send the email if the email address that the visitor puts into their email contact an email address that is of the same domain as the email in my smtp settings and recipient field. it seems that my email servers looks at the incoming email and sees that the domain associated with the smtp is different than the domain associated with the email address the visitor specifies and it is rejected. There must be a way to resolve this?
