Evidently, I don't have enough Karma to reply, comment, or thank Paresh Wagh.  So, thanking him here!

It's a shame I need to activate the side panel and take up all of that wasted space just to get the "subscribe" button.  But, that is what we get with premade platforms - limited options that aren't always ideal.  It would be nice if they had an option to show "Subscribe" under the post...  

So, what I did is added the sidebar, published the page, used the browser option to view the code related to "subscribe", I copied that code, and closed that out.  I went back into edit mode, closed the sidebar option, moved a new "Dynamic Content"/Embed Code block below the latest blog post, and pasted the copied code into that block.  This seemed to work/meet my objectives!

Hi Martin: You can enable the Subscribe button on the Blog page to allow visitors to subscribe to the Blog. They will be added as "Followers" on the Blog and will be notified everytime you post a new blog post. Below is a video I have made depicting the steps to enable this feature and how you can see who has subscribed to the blog(s).
