I have a product that consists of 3 manufacturing layers:
- Powder portion
- Capsule
- Final product
The Bills of Materials are configured so that when the final product is sold, all three manufacturing processes are triggered. All products have MTO and their correspondin Manufacture route.
The issue arises when there is partial manufacturing in the second step.
Example:
- 1,000 powder portions were produced.
- But the operators were only able to produce 900 capsules even though all the powder was consumed
Expected behavior:
When confirming the manufacturing of 900 capsules, I accept the creation of a back order for the remaining 100 capsules. This order for 100 capsules should trigger a manufacturing order for 100 powder portions, since this is within in its BoM.
Actual behavior:
When confirming the manufacturing of 900 capsules, I accept the creation of the back order for 100 capsules, but this does not trigger the child manufacturing of the powder.
