I created two automatic actions to send an email when a time off/leave is approved. Attached screenshot of both actions, both are not working. No emails are being sent.

If you want to send an email if the time off is approved, that's mean the status changed to "approved" so you will trigger the action "On Update"  or "On Creation & Update" and you will set the trigger field and apply on as you can se below:

Thank you, m getting emails now, but there are 3 mails instead of one.

You need to add only status field to watched fields
