In tree view, I can't add attachments

You want to be able to attach a file to an object from a tree view - is this correct? This is by design. You have to be in a form view to add an attachment to the comment stream for the object...
On a side note, there is very little detail in your question which makes it difficult to answer... In the future please provide more detail, both for your benefit as you will get a better answer faster, and for the benefit of future readers...
