Hi, I'm new to this part (changing Odoo) of Odoo


I would like to add 2 statuses to the repair app.

Default there are 5: New, Confirmed, In Progress, Ready, Cancelled. I would like to add Waiting Parts, Waiting Confirmation and Ready for pickup.


How can I do this?

you need to inherit the model and redefine the field like this:

class OriginalModel(models.Model):
	​_inherit = 'original.model'

	state = fields.Selection(selection_add=[
	​	​('waiting_parts', 'Waiting Parts'),
	​	​('ready', 'Ready'),
	​	​// and etc...
	​])
