Thanks Chris So my questiois do I need Accounting Module to set up "Charts of Accounts" or can it be set outside Accounting Module (for example within Invoicing or Sales Module)?

Anurag

Chart of Accounts is in the Invoicing app. You also need to enable "Full Accounting features" for each accounting user (you have to be in 'Developer Mode').

If you install Sales you also need the Invoicing app, which will give you a chart of accounts and other basic functionality so you can invoice your customers.

Note: you should enable "Full Accounting features" for each accounting user (you have to be in 'Developer Mode' to do this).

The same applies to Purchasing, so you can track Vendor Bills (Supplier Invoices).

CRM can be used on its own.

To check dependencies, go to the Odoo pricing page and select any app(s) and see which other ones get added automatically.

You don't need the accounting module to setup taxes, accounts etc. Just tick "Show full accounting features" in the user's preferences/access rights to make accounting setup available.

Thanks Ermin but for some reasons I can not find the check box "show full accounting features" on user preference/access rights. I am using V14. I have CRM, Sales, Purchasing and Invoicing modules installed.

Try enabling developer mode
