Marc has a broad experience in software and product development. He co-founded Ibanity, an API aggregator connecting to several Belgian banks in 2016. The company was acquired by Isabel Group a year later and he has since then been involved in the API strategy of the group as VP. Over the past years, his team grew the API offering of Isabel and grew their initial bank aggregator reach to 1800+ European banks thanks to new regulations in the industry. Marc is also an invited teacher at the UCLouvain in Belgium where he teaches Agile Software development to computer science students.
Embedded banking is a hot topic in the financial sector at the moment. And thanks to evolutions in the economic landscape, European banks have been asked to open access to bank accounts and payments to specific regulated companies.
More and more cases of embedded finance are made possible by these evolutions. The operations you usually do in your banking app regularly are now being integrated with other tools than those provided by your bank.
In this session, you will see how to use Odoo to perform daily banking tasks such as consulting your banking transactions from all your bank accounts, making sense of your movements, and making payments as well.
Thanks to Ponto and its free app for Odoo, we will see how easy it is to benefit from the power of Odoo to make sense of your bank account movements without leaving your favorite tool.
