The Hunar Foundation partnered with Leaders Corporate for the implementation of Odoo ERP to digitally transform its operational and academic support functions through an integrated, scalable platform. The engagement focuses on streamlining key business processes including finance, procurement, HR, student lifecycle support, reporting, and management dashboards, enabling better visibility, process control, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. The Huskie Craft Beer Company required a practical and connected system to manage its craft beer bar operations, from point of sale and inventory through to purchasing, accounting, and team management. Through the implementation of Odoo, we helped bring all key areas of the business into one centralised platform, giving the team better visibility, control, and a stronger digital foundation for day-to-day operations.We set up a fully configured Point of Sale system tailored to the bar environment, including product categories, multiple pricelists, happy-hour rules, cash-in/out management, and payment methods. A kitchen display system was integrated and synced with the POS, ensuring orders flow seamlessly from the bar to the kitchen without manual intervention. The BCRS module was also activated and configured to meet local compliance requirements.
Purchasing was streamlined through the setup of vendor pricelists and a structured purchasing module, making it easier to manage supplier relationships and maintain cost control across procurement. A full initial stock count was carried out alongside the configuration of units of measure, product serial number tracking, and import/export workflows, giving the business accurate and reliable inventory management from day one.
Accounting was set up from the ground up, including a Malta-localised chart of accounts, journal configuration, VAT 18% compliance, and full financial reporting covering aged debtors and payables, profit and loss, and cashflow statements. The HR module was configured to manage employee records, roles, access rights, shift planning, and attendance through a punch clock system.
To support the team in getting the most out of the system, we digitised a full knowledge base accessible from within every module, and delivered hands-on training sessions covering all areas of the platform for every user level. The project concluded with a one-week hypercare period following go-live, ensuring a smooth transition and immediate support for any issues arising in the early stages of live operations.
The result is a fully integrated and operationally ready Odoo system — helping The Huskie Craft Beer Company centralise its bar and business operations, reduce manual workload, and build a more structured and scalable way of working.
