Borfield

Borfield manages dedicated health-food sections within three major PAVI and PAMA supermarket locations in Malta. Its team sources and imports thousands of products, stocks the shelves and staffs the retail areas, while customers complete their purchases through the supermarkets' regular checkouts.

The business needed a dependable and scalable replacement for its previous system, capable of managing an extensive product catalogue, reliable inventory information and an unusual supermarket-sales workflow within a demanding implementation timetable.

Aviense implemented Odoo Sales, Invoicing, Accounting, Inventory and Barcode. Weekly sales reports received from the supermarkets are converted through a supporting Excel  macro into an Odoo-compatible import. Odoo then creates daily sales orders for each supermarket and consolidates them into weekly invoices.

The new system became operational within ten weeks, introducing automation and more reliable stock information while strengthening operational continuity. Its scalable structure has also allowed Borfield to extend the same processes to a third supermarket location without disrupting its established operation. Aviense continues to provide ongoing support and maintenance.
