Founded in 2003, Xtreme Sports began as a passion project for Vakhtang Lashkhi and his partners—avid skiers with a vision to bring premium sportswear and gear to Georgia’s underserved market. At the time, the local sports retail scene lacked access to quality ski equipment, so the founders stepped in to fill the gap by partnering with leading European sportswear brands.
Over the years, the business grew steadily. What started as a niche sportswear shop evolved into a recognized name in Georgia’s retail landscape. But as operations scaled, so did the complexity.
Growing Pains: The Need for a Smarter System
In the early days, everything was managed manually—sales, inventory, accounting, and customer service were all handled using pen, paper, and Excel sheets. Vakhtang recalls the fragmented workflow: “We had to use multiple separate softwares. Sales used Excel sheets. There was no integration, no centralized solution.”
As demand expanded, so did the need for structure. They tried building their own software to manage sales, but quickly realized that true efficiency would only come from a fully integrated, scalable platform.
Enter Odoo: A Centralized Business Solution
Xtreme Sports implemented Odoo to unify their operations and bring automation to their growing business. The results were immediate:

“Odoo gave us what we used to only dream about,” says Vakhtang. “Now, everything is in one system. We’re more efficient, more cohesive, and ready to grow.”

More than just a software transition, Odoo has redefined how Xtreme Sports envisions the future. “It’s a new life,” Vakhtang reflects. “Not a lot of people have this kind of program in Georgia. We wanted to be novel. We wanted to be the first.”
When asked to describe the transformation in a single word, he said: “Cosmos. Yes, cosmos. You can fly in your dreams and make things happen.”
