Hello,

We tried using a payment provider called "Stripe" in our database. This is the only payment provider option. When we tried using it, we needed to make a Stripe account to link it with. We made one, but we ended up stranding at the end, because we had to give out our bank-credantials. We now want to unlink this unfinished account, but it seems it's linked no matter what. We logged into our Stripe account and it says its in "test mode", but in Odoo it says our account is still unfinished and unable to use.

We have tried deleting the unfinished Stripe accounts, but now the following error is here. None of the options work and nothing can be linked.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Stripe: The communication with the API failed. Stripe gave us the following info about the problem: 'The provided key 'rk_live_*********************************************************************************************Z04BzO' does not have access to account 'acct_1RA60CFaa5YPgwBC' (or that account does not exist). Application access may have been revoked.'

You cannot set the provider state to Enabled until your onboarding to Stripe is completed.

(Validation error when I click "Connect Stripe" with State: Test Mode)

You cannot set the provider to Test Mode while it is linked with your Stripe account.

Hi,

The problem is that your Stripe account is in test mode but there's still some connection data stored in your Odoo database that's causing conflicts.

Option 1: Clear Stripe System Parameters Access Settings > Technical > Parameters > System Parameters. Find all parameters containing "stripe" in their names. Delete them or clear their values to remove stored Stripe credentials.

Option 2: Reset Stripe Provider Go to Settings > Payment Providers and locate Stripe. Change its state to "Disabled" first, then click "Reset to Test Mode" to clear the connection. This resets the provider without keeping any account linkage.
