Hello dears,

I want to design a process of questions that, based on the customer's answer, the system will finally offer him the services or products he needs.

There are questions in different categories, the questions are not always in a specific order, but appropriate questions are asked according to the answers to the previous questions. At the end, based on all the answers (multiple options, yes or no, radio button), the decision tree introduces the products or services needed by the person and sends the information to the sales and support department.

! Maybe something similar to the survey module, of course, with some changes and at the end producing results for the customer.

Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks a lot

Hi Hamed,

One way to do it is with the "Website" and "eCommerce" modules.

You can create a set of products in the "Website" module and if you go to the "eCommerce" dropdown menu at the top of the website module and look for "Attributes", add and edit attributes as needed to create your decision tree.  Then navigate to the "Products" option in the "eCommerce" dropdown you can then assign each product one or more attributes.

Once this is done you should publish your products to your shop page and they will appear along with the attribute selector bar on the left (depending on your template)  The client can then select the attributes they want to include and only the products or services that have those attributes will be shown.

Hope this helps resolve your use case, it does not require any modifications and allows decision tree type selection of products.

Hi, thanks for your reply.

I did not work with the eCommerce module, but it should probably be the same as the module in other CMS. I don't want the products to be filtered by the customer, but I want to ask the customer questions in a form and offer products and services to the customer based on his answers.

The products and services are special, and the customer does not technically know what he needs and should buy, but by answering the questions the system can understand what he needs, which offers both the customer and the support team. (for example, 50 questions and checking different conditions)

Do you have any other suggestions? Or do you think the eCommerce module can still help me!?

Thanks a lot

Hi Hamed,
If it is a custom form with questions to be filled out by the customer to be read by your customer support team in order to suggest products then yes, you can use the "Website" module and easily create a custom web form.

You can go to the "website" app and in the site menu select "pages", create a new page. Then click on edit and select the "Form" block and add it to the page. Then you can customize the form as you need. This form can be sent to any members of your team when the customer clicks on submit (by setting an email in the "customize" section of the form editor). then they can advise the customer on the right products to buy, for example by using the CRM app to manage the relationship until a sale is made.

I hope this was helpful for your project.
