Heading the department of process engineering and information technology Dr Thomas Koliwer is leading the Odoo implementation at EMKA Group. Prior to this position Thomas held several engagements at the EMKA Group and in addition has several years of experience as managing director in mid size companies. Previously Thomas has often been involved in the implementation of company software from SAP or Microsoft.
The EMKA GROUP is the world market leader for locking systems, hinges and sealings, which are used in cabinets and control cabinets for electronics and electrical engineering. With more than 2.500 employees in 25 locations worldwide the Odoo implementation is a huge project with a total duration of 5 years.
This talk is about a big challenging Odoo implementation of a worldwide group. Besides certain heavy requirements in logistics, manufacturing, and accounting, a major challenge is the management of different local organizations and partners.
The talk is particularly interesting for decision makers (CEO, CFO, CTO, etc.) of bigger mid-sized companies that are looking for a new implementation of a comprehensive company software (ERP, CRM, e-commerce, PMS, etc.).
