Odoo provides robust tools to monitor and analyze your e-commerce’s performance and optimize the processing of order confirmation emails during high-traffic periods.

Monitoramento de dados

The eCommerce reporting view allows you to monitor and analyze the performance of your online sales. To access it, go to Website ‣ Reporting ‣ eCommerce. The eCommerce Dashboard helps monitor everything related to the online shop, e.g., sales performance by product or category. By default, the graph shows data for Confirmed Orders and the current month.

Click the Untaxed Total button (default) to select the metric to analyze, such as Discount %, Margin, Qty Invoiced, or Volume. You can also switch between pivot and graph views, and create a spreadsheet by clicking Insert in Spreadsheet.

Otimização da fila de e-mails

No caso de sites que lidam com vendas rápidas (ex.: vendas de ingressos para eventos) ou que sofrem picos de alto tráfego, os e-mails de confirmação de pedidos podem se tornar um gargalo de desempenho, o que pode atrasar o processo de check-out para outros clientes.

Para melhorar o desempenho, esses e-mails podem ser enfileirados e processados separadamente do fluxo de confirmação do pedido. Isso é gerenciado pela ação programada Sales: Enviar e-mails pendentes, que envia e-mails enfileirados o mais rápido possível.

Para ativar o envio assíncrono de e-mails:

  1. Enable the Modo de desenvolvedor (modo de depuração).

  2. Open the Settings app and go to Settings ‣ Technical ‣ System Parameters.

  3. Search for the sale.async_emails system parameter, set its Value to True, and click Save.

  4. Navigate to Settings ‣ Technical ‣ Scheduled Actions.

  5. Select the Sales: Send pending emails scheduled action.

  6. Ensure the Active switch is enabled.

Cuidado

This configuration is recommended only for high-traffic websites, as it may introduce unnecessary delays for order confirmation and invoice emails on websites with moderate traffic.
