I'm a real newbie - please be understanding.
I have changed the Employee main menu item:
<menuitem id ="hr.menu_hr_root" name="HR" sequence="5" action="__export__.ir_actions_270"/>
and can see that it has changed in the ir.ui.menu table in the database.
However it is not changing the name. It still appears as "Employees"
What am I doing wrong?
Delete the previous menu and Install your custom app. or so directly form UI. settings->Userinterface->menuitems
