Het bedrijf ontwerpt en realiseert maatwerkprojecten waarbij één klantorder regelmatig leidt tot meerdere inkooporders bij verschillende leveranciers. Hierdoor is volledig inzicht in leveringen, kosten, marges en projectvoortgang essentieel. Met Odoo beschikt Buren Systems International over één centraal platform waarin alle informatie per project wordt samengebracht.Naast verkoop- en inkooporders worden ook e-mails, notities, taken en documenten gekoppeld aan het project. Hierdoor is direct zichtbaar welke onderdelen zijn ontvangen, wat nog geleverd moet worden en welke activiteiten extra aandacht vragen. Ook aanvullende kosten, zoals afzonderlijke verzendkosten, kunnen eenvoudig aan het project worden toegewezen voor een nauwkeurige kosten- en margeanalyse.
Buren Systems International verzorgt zelf het ontwerp en de engineering in AutoCAD (3D), terwijl de productie volledig wordt uitbesteed. De assemblage, montage en oplevering bij de klant worden vervolgens vanuit Odoo ondersteund en aangestuurd. Met vier gebruikers maakt Buren Systems International gebruik van de Odoo-apps CRM, Facturatie, Verkoop, Boekhouding, Project, Voorraad, Inkoop, Studio, Documenten en Planning.
