VSH United is an international holding company with facilities in Suriname, Guyana, USA, and The Netherlands. Daniel Healy took over as Country Manager for VSH United in Guyana in 2018. He manages several business units: Trading, Logistics, and Real Estate.


Our organization was tasked with increasing sales in our trading division, so we did. In 2 years we increased revenue by 400%. But what happens if you grow too big, too fast? Your resources become stretched too thin, and your service goes down. We switched to Odoo to improve business efficiency, with the strategy to prepare for growth.

Using Odoo, we improved our efficiency when processing customer orders; this allows us to fulfill orders quickly and move on to the next customer. Odoo allows the purchasing team to access valuable historical data to make accurate product forecasts, so we have a good balance of stock on hand and positive cash flow. Thanks to the Odoo website module, we can easily publish and hide all products in our inventory. The system is very convenient for our customers, especially when customers are reluctant to travel.
