Consolidation was possible before this App, but you needed to know domain syntax and have the skills to customize financial report definitions.
With this App you can:
more easily work with Charts with different structures because you have more power over the mapping rules.
use different consolidation strategies during different periods: ie. 40% during Q1 and Q2 last year; 60% during Q3 and 4 last year; 100% this year.
use different currency conversion rates.
incorporate Accounting data from non-Odoo systems into Odoo.
edit a consolidation adjustment just like a Journal Entry.
