I'm trying Odoo 10 community and there is no tax report in the community version. Is there an easy way to see your current tax position to fill out a UK VAT return.

We have just started using Odoo and I am hoping that the Sales and Purchase journal report will give me most of what I need for our first VAT return.
Edit: I have just found an OCA module called account_tax_balance which gives a report and breakdown of all purchases and sales, ideal for tax reporting. It won't do your submission automatically, but it will give you what you need in order to submit a VAT statement.

VAT / Tax reporting has always been the BIGGEST fail in Odoo, its only just added "cash basis" as standard. I guess they aim there software at bigger enterprises. Long winded way I'm afraid.You'll have to learn to be an accountant and do everything multiple times :)
