trying to install custom odoo modules but I couldn't find them in odoo apps

Hello all,

I am trying to install odoo custom modules but I am not finding them in odoo apps although I am adding the cum modules file path to odoo.conf
addons_path = /usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/odoo/addons,/home/ubuntu/custom_modules/

And I do make update apps list but also I could not find the modules

Please check the permissions on the corresponding addons folders. They need to be 755 for folders and 644 for files contained in the folders. Check also the log for potential error messages.

Did you restart the Odoo service? You need to restart the Odoo service after changing the odoo.conf file.

Hi Iman,
Please make sure you have done the following steps as well:
1- Restart odoo service
2- Activate the Developer mode from Settings and then "Update Apps List" from Apps.
