Hi,

We have case like managing 2 companies.

Company A  (currency INR)

Company B  (currency USD)

Project in Company A, but the users from both companies recording their timesheets.


Now, how the costing recorded in both companies ? How analytic lines consider cost ?

What is the best way in this case ? How to check cost vs revenue ?

Hi Pinakin,

Here we just need to configure  proper  currency  exchange  rate  in  both  companies rest  will  be  managed automatically in accounting  and  cost/revenue report.

>> Created Two Employees

Siddharth Chikani - Cost Rs.1000 (INR)

New User (US) - Cost 20 (USD)

>> Created Common Project in IND Company

Once we add time sheet for both employee for US company employee based on exchange rate conversion automatically analytic entries will be posted. In this case it's 10 Hrs * 20 = 200/0.013483408665 = 14,833.04
