Odoo E13

I have a subscription that is for $71/month - annually.   Every month the client receives an invoice for $71 which is then auto-payed from Stripe.

However I have one DRAFT journal entry, every month, for years, into the future even, for the equivalent of 71/12.  The entry DEBITS Deferred Income and CREDITS Subscription Income.  These draft entries are never removed so the list of draft entries just gets larger every month.

Even after I cancelled this subscription (in a test database), these monthly DRAFT entries remain; not deleted with the subscription.  Currently I can see them up to year-end 2021 (June) so I am guessing that they are automatically created at some point every year?

Other clients are on the same subscription item and this isn't happening on their accounts.  This was my first subscription so maybe I messed it up way back then and it retains the bad setting?  New subscriptions do not do this - just that original one.

I'm considering just canceling the subscription and deleting all of the draft entries - but I wonder how THAT will mess up the books?
