subscription module not showing

Question

i have a odoo 12 community edition installed on a vps, the subscription module is "installed" on the apps section, but it doesnt appear on the menu

i looked in /odoo-server/addons, and there is no "sale_subscription" module in there.

any idea how i could get the subscription installed and working properly?
