Hi all,

Just trying to import a spreadsheet with stock on hand and reordering rules for one of our warehouses, but an error stopping me from importing the file regarding location_id, even though the location_id is included in the spreadsheet. Is there any way to fix this or am I not doing something wrong?

Can you attach the .csv file?

I see your file has Windows line endings.
Try to import it in UTF-8 with Unix line endings.

I don't have any kudos on this forum yet. so I cannot use any links here. You can contact be by email pektsekye@gmail.com
I will send you the UTF-8 with Unix line endings version of the file.

is the link not visible to copy and paste?

The link is visible for me. But I don't know how to send a file to you.

Thanks for the offer of help. Are you able to please explain this process via the forums? As our company is uncomfortable receiving files from outside sources.

You are right we should solve the problem on forum. So other people can do the same without my help.

1) Search in google "convert to unix line endings online".
2) Then choose one of the first results. An online converter from "execeratics".
3) Upload your CSV file and choose "CRLF to LF".
4) Download the converted with Unix line endings.
5) Try to import it. (Just don't open it with any program! As you can break the file format.)
