we are struggling with the BoM list.

Let's say I have a product A. For this I need 1x B and 1x C.

B has also a BoM list. To produce B I have to cut a big wooden board. From this board, I'm able to get 6x of B. The cutting takes 30 min.

Should I write in the BoM list as quantity 1 unit and an operation duration of 5 min. or 6 units and 30 min.?

How is the relation between the operation duration and the quantity in terms of costs? What's the preferred way?

We are using  saas~16.2+e.
