Hello I would like to ask for help with locations configuration with POS


I need to setup product movement receiving part works fine but sales site no

we need as below

Product is stored in two locations in main warehouse

Showroom what work as retail store running on POS

Warehose this storage location for bigger parts and items but also serviced by POS

We need separate routes for each locations work on POS

Example

Item 1 is in stock in Showroom Screws

Item 2 is in stock in Warehouse Compressor

Sales on POS contain two items on one bill, customer pick box of screws from Showroom and need compressor from warehouse stock

So we should finalizing sales on POS apply sales for Items 1 Screws and move transaction to warehouse where need to be prepare by warehouse team, now after validation of sales both product are deducted from stock and warehouse doesn’t have notification about sales from their part

If you wish to have notification for WH user, then you could enable ship later functionality for the shop. Settings > Point of Sale Inventory section.

During payment process, ship later can be set for the order

This would then create a delivery order operation. However it would include all items on the order and not limited to only the ones which aren't on the shelf. 

If you manage your inventory with storage location, on the detailed operation you would be able to view pick from location. Some way to let the WH user know some of the items have already been picked up by the customer.

This isn't a complete solution you might be looking for, but might provide additional options to work with
