Dear Community, I want some help regarding odoo customisation. I want my odoo to go through some Approval Process and everything. When signing up for odoo I was told Odoo Studio can do everything so obviously i subscribed to it. Now we appointed an odoo Partner, they said it can’t be done via Odoo studio must be done through Coding which requires ODOO.sh and charged me additional $5,000 an year I don’t know why was I false advertised via Odoo before or the Odoo Partner has given me false information. They also mentioned any modifications done via Odoo Studio will be reset to default on every update such as at that time Odoo V18 was new. I was on V17. 

Modifications I have done so far. 

as soon as in purchase app a new quotation is generated it used to Create P24XXX, on default even though it was an RFQ I have updated it to RFQXXX when RFQ gets approved it converts into P24XXX. Now does this really require Programming via Python does studio does not provide this minor modification?
When a RFQ is pressed confirm it goes to Approval from Production department (Level 1) and then when they confirm it, it goes for approval to Manager (Level 2) then RFQ goes into Purchase Order.

it’s been almost an year since I’m working with odoo partner and still they haven’t prepared my software as I wanted it to be such as go through approval process lock purchase orders etc. and I have spent on Odoo partner payments only of $20,000. Please help me if I’m being played with or odoo played me. They’re still not even close to be done yet and charging me more on hourly work basis. Which is very expensive as odoo is supposed to be “cheap” $10 per user a month. But now I have paid around $7,000 a year to Odoo users & .sh hosting and other charges. Additionally I have paid now approx $20,000 to Odoo partner who’s working in its customisation been 6-8 months almost, and still ongoing and charging me which I don’t know how long will it take them to work and still charging me money upto the date of this form. 

Any experts out there?
