The option is not there anymore, it might be due to messing with the debug option? I'm not sure what option started this.

Check the allowed companies field in the multi company section of the user settings.

Both companies are there

follow the below steps:
go to settings > select Users & Companies >select(login) Users > check Allowed Companies field and add multiple companies more than one and save.

once you save record then reload the page
