Hi, I am trying to translate some label that odoo didn't translated it automatically. for this I exported the language i want to correct, i edited the .po file. Now when I am trying to import back, it doesn't give me any error but i don't see the labels that i corrected in .po file applied to the language.

I am using odoo online version 17.0

Hi Hrair Karaboyadjian

Go to Debug Menu > View Fields

In View fields search for your fields and open the fields and in their you can see a field named and 'Field Label' and at the end of that field their is a language button which means if the language of logged in user is English so it will show 'EN' at end of the field so click on that and it will give you the option to translate the field in different language. You can add the translation of the field label in their.

I hope this will help you.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi

You can follow the following steps

Go to settings > Translations >

1. Export the Translation of the app that we needed along with the language

2. Correct the terms in the downloaded file

3 . Import the Updated file , Enable the Overwrite Existing Terms

4 . Upgrade the Module from Odoo Apps List

I followed your steps but unfortunatly, when the user is on the shop page and changes the language into russian, the sort by drop list keeps showing the english sorting list. I don't know what I am missing

All the steps are clear, except the copying of the file into i18n folder.

I'm using Odoo ERP online version provided by Odoo company and I don't have access to folder structure.
