why to use backbone js for Odoo POS which has no support and updates for a long time?
Why not Vue Js its also Open-Source

It is a good idea, but as it is said here, the development of the POS is not a big priority for Odoo https://github.com/odoo/odoo/issues/28179#issuecomment-433998208
