We like the new Website Feature but we can't find a way to setup multiple websites for different subdomains/domains i.e.
ParentCompany.URL - Home - Menu 1 - Menu 2
BranchCompany.URL - Home - List item - List item - List item
Product.ParentCompany.URL - Home - Menu - List item
Promotion.URL - Home - Menu1 - List item
All within one single OpenERP Installation and one Database where you have a Company and several Branches with their own websites (i.e. Franchiser) on own domain or subdomains to parent domain and of course you have products you would like to promote without having the need to setup an extra website only for this promotion with another system.
i.e. In TYPO3 we have Domain Records available.
All Domain Names direct to the Main Site (at TYPO3 it is index.php). From there the system desides where the root for this specific Domain record or subdomainrecord is. It directs the Visitor either to a new Branch inside the same system or even to a new root Branch like mentioned above, or it directs visitors to a specific Page . In TYPO3 even the 301 redirects and HTTP or HTTPS can be managed this way without accessing the .htaccess.
This helps to keep all your data at one place and in one single Website Management System.
Is this possible with OpenERP and if yes how can it be achieved. Thanks!
