I would like to be able to read and write to the gross weights (Weight) field on delivery order form view after sales order has been confirmed. Can anyone tell me how this could be done please. Thank you in advance

I can edit the gross weight by giving the field an "attrs" but I have a problem with this because once I save it reverts back to the original value (this is because the value is based on a calculation on gross weight of each product). I want a situation where I can have the original value or edit it and enter my own value
