I need our POS cashiers to insert certain information before each order and that information needs to be recorded with the order (similar to how a General Note is currently). The field needs to be mandatory for completion of the order. Can this be achieved with the Studio App within Odoo Online hosting?

I'm afraid it will not possible to change the POS interface with studio, as odoo studio does not support customisation of the POS front-end view
you can add field in the back-end of the pos orders but not in the user interface
Thanks for the reply. Follow up question - is there anyway to make the General Notes fields compulsory within the POS? This would be an adequate workaround for us.

Unfortunatly only for the kitchen config not for store sales
Most of the apps also in appstore does not work for odoo online, as tehy have to extend the code
