Hi guys,

We are using automatic restocking with min/max kanbans from many suppliers.

When a min is triggered, Odoo creates a purchase order and if we do not place the purchase order, Odoo adds every day (if required) when new minimums are hit with this supplier.

In theory, works great.

But let's say we have a purchase from this supplier that is on the way and the delay is 2 weeks. Odoo will not take this under consideration and will built a new purchase orders adding many items/products that are already on the way to our warehouse.

Once we receive the order that is on the way, Odoo will also not adapt (remove) the received items. So the automatically created purchase order will be obsolete/inadequate.

Is there a way for Odoo to consider what is currently on the way but has not been received yet. Or else this module is not very useful... it requires many adjustments on our side.

Thank you,

In short - the answer is no.

Odoo only setupt is fixed lead times.  So as long as the setting on the product purchase lead time is less than the actual delivery time, Odoo will propose to send a new purchase order.

I have not tested, but perhaps also set a MAX stock, might give another result.
