I'm looking for a way to transfer goods to internal consumption, so that it reduces the stocks without selling the products, since they are internally used.

Thank you.

Paul

Thank you very much; that works perfectly.

I have one more question: Is there a report where I can see the quantities and values of products with internal consumption for a specific period of time? In the warehouse report, I can only see the quantities, but not the value as far as I see..

Do you have any idea how I can check the value of "internal consumption" for a specific period?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Regards,

Paul

hello Paul

Trying this way

Create an Internal Consumption Operation

  • Navigate to Inventory > Configuration > Operations Types.
  • Click Create and configure a new operation type:
    • Operation Type: "Internal Consumption"
    • Type of Operation: Set to "Internal Transfer."
    • Specify the Default Source Location (e.g., your warehouse stock location).
    • Specify the Default Destination Location as a virtual location to represent consumption (e.g., "Inventory Adjustment" or create a new location for "Internal Consumption").

How to manage the Journal Entries? There should be a Journal Entries where it should Debit the Expense Account and Credit the Stocks Account.
